The church office is closed today due to the weather.
The food pantry is open, but due to a lack of deliveries, our supplies are low.
Compassion Ministry connects the dots between those who have a need and those who can help meet that need. Needs come from within our church family as well as from our surrounding community. Needs vary from a simple ride to church to providing food assistance to a local family. There is no shortage of needs when caring for a church family of our size and sharing the love of Jesus with our neighboring community.

Thursday Night is cooking night at Chelten!
Each Thursday night one of seven cooking teams gather in the church kitchen to prepare delicious meals for our senior adults, families in need, those experiencing long-term illness or anyone who could be blessed by a "home-cooked" meal.
Come and join us!
If you enjoy cooking, like to meet new people, or just love to wash dishes, this may be the ministry for you. [Sign-up here to get involved!]

Chelten currently has several units for housing individuals and/or families. It would be easier to define what Housing Ministry means and who we assist if there was one "typical" situation, but there is not.
The people who stay with us come from a variety of different situations, and the length of stay varies from short-term temporary housing to long-term housing where guests live in intentional community together. No matter their reason or length of stay, those who enter into Chelten housing are cared for as they navigate life's transitions, become emotionally and financially responsible, and heal from past wounds.
