Support Groups

Support groups are for those times when you need help with a specific life struggle and can best get that from people who have the same experience. (For Small Groups, click here) To inquire about joining a support group, fill out the online form here or call the Counseling Center at 215-646-5588. We do ask that all participants register in advance.

 

Divorce Care is a weekly support group that will help you deal with the pain of separation. It's a warm, caring environment led by people who understand what you are going through. 

 We will meet on Thursday nights for 13 weeks. There is a $30 fee for participating in this group. We do ask that you register online here or by calling 215-646-5588.

DivorceCare for Kids provides a safe, fun place where children will learn to understand their feelings, express their emotions appropriately, feel better about themselves, and develop coping skills. DC4K is designed for children ages 5-12.

 We will meet on Thursday nights for 13 weeks. There is a $30 fee for participating in this group. We do ask that you register your child online here, or by calling 215-646-5588.

Grief Share allows you to walk alongside others during one of life's most difficult experiences so that you don't have to go through the grieving process alone. 

IMAGINE YOURSELF DEBT FREE

Financial Peace University is a nine-week video based, small group study that teaches families, through biblical principles, how to beat debt, build wealth, and give like never before. You can find out more info and register for this opportunity here.

 

Holding Hope

For many, strong negative feelings of depression, anxiety, sadness, numbness, and fear can be overwhelming and crippling. These can often isolate us from the caring community Jesus has provided us with. This group will be a place to freely share this burden and seek lasting hope from Jesus together. Mosaic is a group for women seeking to make sense of their story of sexual abuse within a redemptive environment of grace and safety. For more information click here.

 

Men's Purity

Men's Purity pushes back against the isolating shame and stigma of sexual sin by fostering healthy relationships that pursue purity together. 

 

Single and Parenting allows you to meet with other single parents to learn and discuss parenting strategies and hope-filled insights. 

This support group is scheduled at the same time as the children and youth programs of Chelten so your need for childcare is reduced.

There is a $30 fee for participating in this group which includes materials.
