Support Groups

Support Groups at Chelten exist to help those who attend enjoy a safe environment where faith in Christ and biblical wisdom can coexist as a prerequisite for personal change.

Support groups are for those times when you need help with a specific life struggle and can best get that from people who have the same experience. Project Philos

Chelten is proud to partner with Bethany Christian Services in providing Support Groups for adoptive families. Bethany provides adoption professionals to lead separate groups for parents, teenagers, and children who are navigating life along the adoption journey.

While the adoption journey can be full of joy, there are also many difficult times and hard experiences. Our hope is to offer support and encouragement to families at any stage of their adoption journey. We aim to provide families with practical knowledge and trauma informed interventions to help them build a safe, loving, and positive relationship with one another.

This service is funded by the Statewide Adoption Network and is free to families. Adoptive Families are encouraged to call SWAN at 1-800-585-7926 and request post permanency services to help keep this group remain free for families.
