Sunday Classes

The Epistles of John: Reassuring Your Faith in Confusing Times

February 3—April 7, 2019
Fellowship Hall | 9:00–10:15 am

As a follow-up to our recent sermon series, Complete Joy, we will continue to study the letter of 1 John, along with the lesser-known letters of 2 and 3 John. Together, these three important letters comprise only seven chapters, so we will be able to read and study every word—which offer guidance and reassurance of our Christian faith in these exciting, yet sometimes confusing, times.

Psalms: The Bible’s Worship Book

February 3—April 7, 2019
Fellowship Hall | 9:00–10:15 am

God gave us a collection of song lyrics to use for praise, prayer, confession and even complaint! Together we will learn how to study the Psalms to draw closer to the living God. Each week will be a stand-alone lesson looking at a different psalm, so you can join us at any time!

Teachers: Keith Howland and Rob Evans

Men’s Ministry Meetings

6:30-7:15 am • Fellowship Hall
Reflecting on Chelten’s previous Sunday morning message, we discuss matters of faith and Study God’s Word together. Got to get to work on time? We end our informal meetings promptly at 7:15 am.

7:00-8:30 pm • Room 301
Whether you just began to study the Bible or have studied it your whole life, this group will be a good fit for you. Each week we read through a Bible passage together and answer key questions that help us discover what God is saying. Join us and learn how you can help others become followers of Jesus.

6:30-7:30 am • Coffee Loft (near Fellowship Hall)
When it comes to living the Christ-centered manhood you were designed for, who you “do life with” is important. Chelten Men’s Fraternity invites you to our weekly Thursday morning men’s fellowship group in the Loft from 6:30-7:30 a.m. (Coffee and donuts at 6:15). Start the year off right for an hour of connection, sharing, engagement and prayer. We’ll use the excellent book Disciplines of a Godly Man by Kent Hughes to equip ourselves and facilitate small group discussions about the challenges we face as men of God. Prayerfully consider joining us! If you have questions, contact Dan King at [email protected].
