1 Timothy

March 3–May 26, 2024
9-10:15 a.m. • Fellowship Hall
Taught by Keith Howland and Sean Sabella

This New Testament book was a personal letter written by the elderly Apostle Paul to his spiritual son, Timothy. Paul had assigned Timothy to lead the church at Ephesus, which was plagued by disorder and doctrinal error. Join us for an inductive study of this insightful letter, which provides crucial guidance on matters of church leadership—from proper worship to qualifications for elders and deacons, to advice on confronting false teaching and treating various individuals within a congregation. We will also see how Timothy was charged to live a life beyond reproach, giving all believers a standard to emulate.
